I have found myself dreaming of this magical day a lot the last few weeks, especially with the restriction of non-essential travel and the lack of social connection happening. Last year on April 30th things looked a lot different and it is forever marked a day of learning and celebration in my mind.
Out in the forest, near Eagle Pass Lodge outside of Revelstoke, BC you would find a group of wedding professionals working together to set up what we thought was a styled shoot curated by an incredible team of professionals for The Open Trunk Workshop. Stunning floral elements, vintage furniture pieces, and moss coverings made for the most magical ambiance for this styled elopement.
But. . . SURPRISE!
This was not a styled shoot . . . But a REAL elopement! After Lindsay + Sean experienced their First Look together on top of a glacier (yep, Epic right!?) they joined us in the forest to say "I Do". Talk about an incredibly humbling moment.
First, I would like to say thank you to Lindsay and Sean for sharing that super intimate and incredibly special moment with us and for all of the time you allowed us to have with you post-"I Do's" that weekend. I am wishing you the happiest of Anniversaries!
A second thank you to the team that made it all possible. . . WOW, just wow. Humbled, grateful, and completely in awe of each of you. Talk about the most incredible surprise.
